Edison is a perfect 10-0 against McNair since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Vikings will welcome the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Edison had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Weston Ranch on Tuesday. The Vikings were the clear victors by a 16-5 margin over the Cougars. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won six matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.
Alicia Leiva spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and four unearned) runs on six hits.

At the plate, Jamaiya Wilson was a standout: she fired off four runs, two stolen bases, and three doubles while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Lelia Tatupu was another key player, going 3-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs.
Edison always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .558. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Weston Ranch only posted an OBP of .412.
Meanwhile, McNair hadn't done well against Stagg recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Eagles came out on top against the Delta Kings by a score of 14-9. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by exactly five runs.
Edison pushed their record up to 10-7 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.9 runs over those games. As for McNair, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.
Edison got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against McNair by a conclusive 19-7 score. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
