Clinton had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.3 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Saturday. They blew past the Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals 56-31. The Maroons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 24 points or more this season.

Clinton pushed their record up to 19-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Warrensburg-Latham, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-14.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Central A & M the next time they take the court. Warrensburg-Latham will head out to face Central A & M at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while Clinton will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
