Alpha Omega Academy extended their winning streak to five on Tuesday, bumping them up to 14-3. They came out on top against the St. Francis Episcopal Wolves by a score of 10-6. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wolves, too.

As for St. Francis Episcopal, with the defeat, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-9. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this game were averaging 3.77 runs allowed.

For St. Francis Episcopal's part, Cj Denson made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Adam Garcia, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alpha Omega Academy will square off against Covenant Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Lions their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for St. Francis Episcopal, they will challenge Rosehill Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.11 runs per game on average), something the Wolves will no doubt try to take advantage of.
