Terre Haute North Vigo waltzed into their match on Thursday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They blew past the Riverton Parke Panthers 12-1. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won 12 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Kyleigh Walker was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, Terre Haute North Vigo let Addison Millington and Kenzie Zigler run wild. Millington went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one double, and one RBI, while Zigler went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most hits Millington has posted since back in April. Kara Salmon was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
