It was a good run, but Coppell unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 67-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Guyer Wildcats. The Cowboys were not able to make up for their loss to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in February.

Coppell's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Guyer, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

Looking ahead, Coppell will be playing at home against Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cowboys will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 58.89 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Guyer, they will face off against Denton at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
