That's the first time this season that Yildiz grabbed two or more steals. Another player making a difference was Noah Akkerman, who scored seven points.
Vinny Girish went supernova for Sonoma Valley, scoring 22 points along with five rebounds. Hudson Giarritta was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six assists and six rebounds.
Vintage has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season. As for Sonoma Valley, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-13.
