Abigail Wilce posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. She struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and five unearned) runs off six hits (and not a single walk). Considering she played a big game the last time she faced off against North Pocono last Monday, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock.

Wilce and Scranton Prep will be playing in front of their home fans against Scranton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Cavaliers got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Knights thanks in part to Wilce: she went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
