The Battle Ground Academy Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Tuesday after their third straight  defeat. They fell  58-49 to Middle Tennessee Christian. Battle Ground Academy has struggled against Middle Tennessee Christian recently, as their  match on Tuesday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
 Despite the loss, Battle Ground Academy still got an impressive performance from   Dj Haws, who  scored 30 points along with six  rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Haws has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Abby Mclay, who  scored eight points along with two  steals.
 Middle Tennessee Christian found their leader in underclassman  Anna clay Shirley, who  scored 27 points along with five  rebounds and two  steals. Shirley has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ashley Rucker, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on nine points and 12  rebounds.
 Battle Ground Academy dropped their record down to 5-16 with that  defeat, which was their fourth straight  on the road. As for Middle Tennessee Christian, the  victory was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-11.
 Battle Ground Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Middle Tennessee Christian also has no future games currently scheduled.
