After losing to the Corinth Warriors the last time they met, the Lafayette Commodores decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Lafayette enjoyed a cozy 28-14 win over Corinth on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lafayette.
Lafayette got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Davion Bell out in front who rushed for 15 yards and three touchdowns.
Lafayette has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Corinth, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which lines up perfectly with their 3-9 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lafayette will take on Canton at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Corinth will be staying on the road on November 10th to face off against Holmes County Central at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Holmes County Central will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
