Saidi Wasaidi Turns in Season-Best Effort
Polytechnic was led to victory by Saidi Wasaidi, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Wasaidi rushed for 261 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Polytechnic's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-6. Wasaidi and Polytechnic will challenge South Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

William Quintana-Rodriguez Delivers Best Performance of Season
William Quintana-Rodriguez produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Chisholm Trail to the win on Friday. Quintana-Rodriguez rushed for 154 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.6 yards per carry. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2023. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.
The victory made it two in a row for Chisholm Trail and bumps their season record up to 6-2. Quintana-Rodriguez and Chisholm Trail will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Polytechnic at 7:30 p.m. on November 1st.

Grant Posts Huge Game in 57-6 Win
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Kaeden Grant stepped things up a notch to give Arlington Heights the 'W'. Grant was dynamite, rushing for 38 yards and three touchdowns, while also throwing for 195 yards and a touchdown on only 18 passes.
Grant and Arlington Heights will head out on the road to square off against Trimble Tech at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Grant will face off against Alexis Saucedo, the Bulldogs' star quarterback. So who wins this QB-duel? There's only one way to know for sure.

Thomas Made His Presence Known in Paschal's 39-31 Loss
Jashaun Thomas put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in October of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 107 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries.
With the defeat, Paschal broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-2. Thomas and Paschal will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Wyatt at 7:30 p.m.

The second Chisholm Trail player making an appearance here is Omari Johnson, and for good reason. He made a tackle. He torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 82 yards.
