Ector lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Dodd City, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's game. The Eagles' pitchers stepped up to hand the Hornets a 6-0 shutout on Friday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by six runs or more this season.

With the victory, Ector broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-10. As for Dodd City, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.
