The Sabine Cardinals had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 34.7 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They strolled past White Oak with points to spare, taking the game 46-29. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Sabine also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Despite the loss, White Oak still got an impressive performance from Kalyn Hepler, who scored 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hepler has scored all season.
Sabine has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season. As for White Oak, they dropped their record down to 9-19 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sabine will take on the Bears at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Gladewater will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak. As for White Oak, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. New Diana has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
