Queen's Grant hasn't had much luck against Corvian Community recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Queen's Grant Stallions will face off against the Corvian Community Cardinals at 2:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Queen's Grant comes in on 14 and Corvian Community on four.
Queen's Grant is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They breezed past South Stokes to the tune of 88-59. The Stallions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 18 games by 22 points or more this season.

Queen's Grant got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Preston Scott out in front who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten assists. Thanks to that strong game, Scott now owns an excellent 45.8% shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Smith, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Queen's Grant smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in nine consecutive matches.
Bishop McGuinness typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Corvian Community proved too difficult a challenge. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 52-50 win over the Villains.
Corvian Community's win came from a few key players Queen's Grant will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was RJ Moore Jr., who went 8-for-16 on his way to 19 points. His big performance that evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Andre Jackson Jr. was another key player, putting up eight points along with nine assists and four steals.
Queen's Grant's victory was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 27-7. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 35 points. As for Corvian Community, their record is now 23-7.
Tuesday's contest is shaping up to be a masterclass in shooting: Queen's Grant has been crazy accurate this season, having nailed 49.9% of their shots per game. However, it's not like Corvian Community struggles in that department as they've nailed 47.8% of their field goals this season. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Queen's Grant took a serious blow against Corvian Community in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 79-52. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Queen's Grant was down 53-17.
