The Watertown Arrows will venture away from home to challenge the Lincoln Patriots at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Watertown sitting on four straight wins and Lincoln on five.
Roosevelt came into Tuesday's match looking for another win against Watertown, but Andi Olson wouldn't allow it. The Arrows came out on top against the Rough Riders by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday with plenty of help from Olson, who had 22 digs. She has been hot recently, having posted 22 or more digs the last three times she's played.
Watertown had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-15, 25-18, 25-20.

Watertown's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Hensley Hogue, who had five digs and five aces. Those five aces gave Hogue a new career-high. Ellie Thury was another key player, getting ten digs.
They weren't the only good servers: Watertown was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Lincoln got the win against Tea on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.
While Lincoln won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-13, 25-17.
Watertown better focus on containing Julia Blom and Hayden Kok as the pair were huge in Lincoln's win. Blom had 11 digs and five assists, while Kok had five digs and two aces.
Watertown's record is now 12-6. As for Lincoln, their record now sits at 13-4.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's matchup: Watertown has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 6.9 aces per game. However, it's not like Lincoln struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.4 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Everything went Watertown's way against Lincoln in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Watertown made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Arrows since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
