Wyatt Beddes Drops League-Best Performance on Friday
Starting off the list is Shepherd's Wyatt Beddes, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Beddes rushed for 32 yards and a touchdown.
Shepherd is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6. Beddes and Shepherd will be playing in front of their home fans against Red Lodge/Belfry/Roberts at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Jake Cook Delivers Electric Effort Vs Colstrip
Jake Cook was instrumental in extending Joliet's winning streak to three on Thursday. Cook was dynamite, rushing for 84 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, while also picking up 72 receiving yards. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making four total tackles and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.
Joliet's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Cook and Joliet will take on Huntley Project at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Grady Schmidt Turns in Another Game with at Least 136 Rushing Yards
Grady Schmidt continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his third-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least 136 rushing yards. He rushed for 136 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries.
For the year, Schmidt has run in 8 touchdowns while averaging 117.2 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 44.67 rushing yards per game.

Big Game from Juhnke As Joliet Won 49-7
Kaden Juhnke put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in September of 2023 on Thursday. He rushed for 37 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 98 yards and a touchdown on only seven passes. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making five total tackles.
This year, Juhnke has thrown 8 touchdowns while averaging 137 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he had three rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to five.
