It's playoff time, and Centauri had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Platte Valley Broncos with a sharp 62-41 victory on Friday. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Platte Valley lost, don't look at Regan Edstrom. Despite the final result, he went 9-for-11 on his way to 23 points and three steals. What's more, Edstrom also posted an 82% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2023.

Centauri pushed their record up to 24-0 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Platte Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.

Centauri didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-32 victory against Bayfield on the 8th. Platte Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
