Meanwhile, Covington can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  squad sidled past Western Boone  53-51.
 Covington's win came from a few key players Lafayette Central Catholic will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was  Kaden Smith, who  had 15 points and seven  rebounds. Those 15  points gave  him a new career-high.  Urban Roarks was another key player,  going 5 of 7 on his way to 14 points.
