The BASIS Phoenix Firebirds will stay at home for another game and welcome the Ray Bearcats at 5:30 p.m. on January 29th. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around on Monday.
BASIS Phoenix suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 48-27 walloping at the hands of Glendale Prep Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points BASIS Phoenix has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Ray suffered a rough 57-31 loss at the hands of Globe on Wednesday.
Malena Goad was Ray's leading scorer, having posted 12 points.
Makayla Barajas held things down on the boards with 11 rebounds. She took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.
BASIS Phoenix's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-4. As for Ray, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-18.
