There's no place like home for Delta, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They never let the New Palestine Dragons get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Dragons on Tuesday, they had to take a 5-2 loss.

Maddox Huffman looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Delta's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Chase Flannery, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Delta has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for New Palestine, the defeat snapped their winning streak at ten games and leaves them with a 14-3 record.

Looking ahead, Delta will face off against Wapahani at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Raiders will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for New Palestine, they will square off against Connersville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
