Yates entered their tilt with Northside on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Northside Panthers 63-39. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Yates' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Taniyah Cooper, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Cooper has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Dillynn Johnson was another key player, putting up 12 points in addition to seven boards and seven steals.

Yates is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.4 points per game. As for Northside, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Yates will square off against Washington at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northside, they will take on Worthing at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
