Flanagan needed a changed in momentum after dropping three straight games and they got it from Oscar Benitez. The Falcons came out on top against the Hollywood Hills Spartans by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday for which the team can thank Benitez, who had 26 digs and six assists. He has been hot, having posted 15 or more digs the last five times he's played.

Flanagan walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 20-25, 25-22, 25-22.

When it comes to explaining why Hollywood Hills lost, don't look at Christian Hernandez. Despite the final result, he had 21 digs and one assist. Another player making a difference was Duane Floyd, who had 11 kills and four blocks.

Flanagan's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Hollywood Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.

Flanagan has already played their next contest (against Somerset Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Hollywood Hills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Northeast on the 10th.
