The Cottondale Hornets won the last time they faced the Wewahitchka Gators, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Cottondale blew past Wewahitchka 60-17 at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-9.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cottondale to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kee'shan Hudson, who scored 15 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Cole Reagan, who scored 11 points.
Cottondale now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Wewahitchka, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Cottondale will head out on the road to face off against Graceville at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Graceville's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Wewahitchka, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Aucilla Christian at 7:30 p.m.
