Purdue Broad Ripple dropped their record down to 3-2 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 13-0 to the Purdue Polytechnic Techies. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Lynx's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

As for Purdue Polytechnic, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2. Considering they have won five matchups by more than 12 runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

For Purdue Polytechnic's part, Nevan Jeffers was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those three hits gave Jeffers a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jonquil Muse, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Purdue Broad Ripple will welcome Indiana School for the Deaf at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Purdue Polytechnic, they will square off against Heritage Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
