The Simla Cubs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Front Range Christian Falcons at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Simla knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine games -- so hopefully Front Range Christian likes a good challenge.
Simla stacked a ninth blowout onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past St. Mary's 48-0 on the road. Given Simla's advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado football rankings (they are ranked second, while St. Mary's is ranked 55th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Simla's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. Leading the way was Treven Kocerha and his two sacks.
Meanwhile, Front Range Christian fell victim to Byers' stalwart defense on Saturday and couldn't make it onto the board. They took a serious blow against the Bulldogs, falling 54-0. It was the first time this season that Front Range Christian let down their fans at home.
Simla's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 9-0. As for Front Range Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
