After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cardozo, Eastern was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They claimed a resounding 68-27 win over the Ron Brown Monarchs . The Ramblers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 25 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Ron Brown lost, don't look at Tariq Brown. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Malik Williams, who posted four points.

Eastern's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-6. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points per game. As for Ron Brown, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season.
