Make it seven blowout wins for the Lone Peak Knights this season. They took their matchup on the road on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 64-29 win over Lehi. The win was nothing new for Lone Peak as they're now sitting on four straight.
Lone Peak's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Shawnee Nordstrom, who scored 15 points along with four steals. Nordstrom has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Naia Tanuvasa was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with two steals.
Lehi's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kinly Faux, who scored eight points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Hadlie Warren, who scored nine points.
Lone Peak's victory was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-6. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 34.7 points. As for Lehi, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.
Lone Peak will head out on the road to square off against Westlake at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Westlake focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Tuesday. As for Lehi, they will be playing at home against Pleasant Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pleasant Grove is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
