Middletown extended the longest winning streak in Monocacy Valley - Piedmont this week by beating Walkersville, 31-6. The victory was the 10th in a row for the team.
Frederick and Governor Thomas Johnson played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Frederick eventually emerging with a 24-21 victory.
Frederick's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Cadets feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Matt Hynes has thrown for 1837 yards and 15 touchdowns this season, while Alex Levine has 45 catches for 669 yards. Jerel English leads the league in rushing with 1001 yards.
Oakdale led Monocacy Valley - Piedmont in scoring this week after putting up 41 points on Tuscarora.
