Merrill got themselves on the board against Onalaska on Saturday, but Onalaska never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Hilltoppers with a sharp 10-0 victory. The Bluejays might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by eight runs or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Merrill and bumps their season record up to 4-5. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Onalaska, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

The future could be bright for both Merrill and Onalaska: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Bluejays will try to hand Waunakee their fourth-straight loss when the two meet at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Onalaska will look to extend La Crosse Central's six-game losing streak when they meet at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
