Woods Charter came tearing into  Monday's  contest with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Burlington Christian Academy Royals by a score of  3-1.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 26-28, 25-16,  25-20.
 Despite the  loss, Burlington Christian Academy had strong showings from  Ali Moldt, who  had three  digs and three  aces, and  Anna Wilson, who  had 11  digs and two  aces. Moldt is  on a roll when it comes to  aces, as she's  now  served three or more in each of the last three games she's  played.
Woods Charter's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Burlington Christian Academy, their defeat  ended  a  four-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 6-4.
 Looking ahead, Woods Charter will host Chatham Charter  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Burlington Christian Academy, they are taking a road trip to  face off against Caldwell Academy  at 4:15  p.m.  on Thursday.
