Sneads has been on the road for five straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. The Sneads Pirates and the Bethlehem Wildcats will face off at 4:00 p.m. on December 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Last Friday, Sneads wound up with the same score they had in their last game (50-29), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. They have not had much luck with Blountstown recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Meanwhile, Bethlehem's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Ponce De Leon an easy 42-20 win. While losing is never fun, Bethlehem can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 319th, while Ponce De Leon is ranked 47th).
Sneads' defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Bethlehem, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Sneads came up short against Bethlehem in their previous meeting back in January of 2021, falling 41-28. Can Sneads avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
