Seminole is 1-9 against Andrews since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Indians will take on the Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. Seminole has given up an average of 8.3 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Seminole took an eight-run loss the last time they faced off against Greenwood, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Indians narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Rangers 16-15. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Indians have posted since February 12th.

Monica Morin was incredible, firing off two home runs and four RBI while going 3-for-4. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Valerie Reyes was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and two RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Seminole kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 20 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Andrews came out on top against Pecos on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run third inning. The Mustangs had just enough and edged out the Eagles 6-4. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Georgia Lambert made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over 6.1 innings while giving up four earned runs off five hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two doubles.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Addison Fields, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Marlee Vasquez, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
Andrews' record now sits at 22-8. As for Seminole, they now have a winning record of 13-12.
Monday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Seminole hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .447. However, it's not like Andrews struggles in that department as they've averaged .383. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Seminole might still be hurting after the 18-4 defeat they got from Andrews in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Can the Indians avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
