CLANTON, Ala. - the Tigers scored 42 points in the first quarter to secure a big 42-6 victory over Ramsay (Birmingham, Ala.) on Saturday.
Chilton County scored on a
Michael Seaton touchdown run, a touchdown run by
Richard Hilliard, a touchdown pass by
Chance Britnell to
Austin Rossi, a Seaton touchdown run, a touchdown run by
Taylor Speaks and a
Trenton Bishop touchdown run in the quarter.
The lead that CC took on a touchdown run by Seaton with 3:00 remaining in the first quarter stood up for the duration of the game, as neither team managed to score in the second half.
With the win the Clanton school extended its winning streak to seven games. The Tigers defeated the Cavaliers 7-3 last week.
Chilton County's most effective player was Seaton. The senior running back ran for two touchdowns. He has now scored 16 touchdowns on the season.
The Rams' lone touchdown came on a 35-yard pass in the first quarter.
CC came into the game allowing 7.8 points per game.
Chilton County (8-1) will play a non-conference game against Calera next week, while Ramsay (1-8) will take on Tarrant also in a non-conference game.
