The Mount Si Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Eastlake Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The last four games Mount Si has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Mount Si took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Woodinville, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Mount Si skirted past Woodinville 3-2. The three-run effort marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Mount Si got a great performance from Owen Krasowski as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. What's more, Krasowski posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Matthew Talbot, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That run was his first of the season.
Meanwhile, Eastlake put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Oak Harbor as Eastlake made off with an 11-3 victory. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by six runs or more this season.
Sanath Chari looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
On the hitting side, Larson Kohlman was incredible, going 2-for-4 with five RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Noah Koong, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.
Eastlake pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.6 runs over those games. As for Mount Si, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-1-1 and their overall record up to 3-2-1.
Mount Si skirted past Eastlake 7-5 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will Mount Si repeat their success, or does Eastlake has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
