Trey Sparrow and T Gagel did some serious damage despite the final result: Sparrow went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run, while Gagel went 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of D Minter, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Brayden Minor spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and three unearned) runs on nine hits.
On the hitting side, Austin Martin was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. He has become a key player for Hart County: the team is 8-2 when he posts at least two runs, but 8-16-1 otherwise. Zach Sloan was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Nelson County's defeat dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Hart County, their victory bumped their record up to 16-18-1.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Nelson County has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Hart County struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Nelson County came out on top in a nail-biter against Hart County when the teams last played back in March of 2024, sneaking past 5-3. Will the Cardinals repeat their success, or do the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
