The Crosspoint Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 26 points or more this season. They breezed by Auburn Adventist on the road to the tune of 67-22. The victory was just what Crosspoint needed coming off of a 69-32 defeat in their prior contest.
Leading Crosspoint to victory were Momoyo Iwata and Riya Tobosa. Iwata scored 14 points along with six rebounds and five assists, while Tobosa dropped a double-double on ten points and 17 rebounds. Tobosa set a new season high mark in assists with seven. Another player making a difference was Anna Kuske, who scored 13 points.
Crosspoint has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. As for Auburn Adventist, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crosspoint will take on Sound Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sound Christian's defense has only allowed 26.6 points per game this season, so Crosspoint's offense will have their work cut out for Crosspoint. As for Auburn Adventist, they will be playing at home against Columbia Adventist Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
