Meanwhile, Foundation Academy got the win against The Villages Charter on Monday by a conclusive 3-0.
The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 29-27, 25-22.
Orangewood Christian better focus on containing Kaitlyn Hatfield and Luna Dela Cruz as the pair were huge in Foundation Academy's win. Hatfield had 12 digs, while Dela Cruz had 23 digs and two assists. The dominant performance also gave Dela Cruz a new career-high in kills (two).
Orangewood Christian's victory bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Foundation Academy, their win bumped their record up to 20-3.
