Basketball Recap: Inderkum Piles Up the Points Against Rio Americano

On Friday, everything came up roses for the Inderkum Tigers against the Rio Americano Raiders as the team secured an 80-13 victory. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 26 points or more this season.

Jamiah Fontenberry was her usual excellent self, putting up 25 points. That's the most points she has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Aniyah Bruhn, who posted 12 points.

Inderkum has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for Rio Americano, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.

Inderkum will take on Pinole Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Rio Americano, they will challenge Christian Brothers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
