In what's become a running theme this season, the Poly Engineers gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They blew past Coppin Academy 63-11 at home. The win was familiar territory for Poly who now have four in a row.
Poly's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mickelle Lowry led the charge by scoring 13 points along with two steals. Lowry is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. London Elliot was another key contributor, scoring five points along with four steals.
Poly's victory bumped their record up to 18-1. As for Coppin Academy, they dropped their record down to 12-5 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Poly will challenge City College at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Coppin Academy, they will be playing at home against Varsity Opponent at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
