The result was an unpleasant reminder to Cumberland Academy of Georgia of the 51-42 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.
Leading Mill Springs Academy to victory were Hampton Hill and Ryan Frommer. Hill scored 19 points along with three steals, while Frommer dropped a double-double on 25 points and 21 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Frommer has scored all season.
Cumberland Academy of Georgia dropped their record down to 0-8 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Mill Springs Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-4.
