The Golden Sierra Grizzlies lost against the Bret Harte Bullfrogs back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Golden Sierra was beaten by Bret Harte 64-35. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Golden Sierra has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Golden Sierra still got an impressive performance from Patrick Bingham, who scored six points along with 15 rebounds and five assists. Those five assists set a new season-high mark for Bingham. The team also got some help courtesy of Devin Nibbelink, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds.
Golden Sierra bumped their record down to 2-6 with that loss, which was their third straight at home dating back to last season. That rough patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.7 points per game. As for Bret Harte, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.
Golden Sierra will be home for the holidays to greet Victory Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bret Harte, they will square off against Hughson at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Hughson's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games.
