Jamari Farmer Delivers Best Effort of Season
Mooresville was led to victory by Jamari Farmer, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Farmer picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and made 13 total tackles (4.0 for loss).

His longest rush was for an impressive 69 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Johnson and South Iredell will take on Mooresville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Johnson will face off against Brody Norman, the Blue Devils' star signal caller. So who wins this QB-duel? There's only one way to know for sure.

A Season-Best Effort from Maddox Langley Leads A.L. Brown over Cox Mill
On Friday, A.L. Brown got the W thanks in part to Maddox Langley playing the best football he has all season. Langley picked up 109 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making a tackle and defending two passes in addition to snagging an interception.
Langley's next matchup is against West Cabarrus on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort. The contest will pit Langley up against the Wolverines' star pass catcher Cesidio Castricone. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Joell Wooten Turns in Season-Best Effort
Hickory Ridge came up short on Friday despite Joell Wooten delivering his best game to date. Wooten picked up 147 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 50 yards.
Hickory Ridge is on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7. Wooten and Hickory Ridge will face off against Lake Norman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Mozes Morris Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Lake Norman had to settle for second even though Mozes Morris put up the best numbers he has all season. Morris rushed for 111 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 66 yards.
If the past is any indication, Morris could be in store for another big game when he takes on Hickory Ridge on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Morris saw the Ragin' Bulls), he rushed for 135 yards and a touchdown.
