There's no place like home for the Milford Scarlet Hawks, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against North Attleborough by a score of 68-58 on Monday. Given Milford's advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 112th, while North Attleborough is ranked 300th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Andrew Rivera was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 28 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. CJ Farrell was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Milford's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-8. As for North Attleborough, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-15.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing King Philip Regional the next time they take the court. Milford will host King Philip Regional at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while North Attleborough will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
