Hamilton is 9-1 against Russellville since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Hamilton Aggies will look to defend their home court against the Russellville Golden Tigers at 5:30 p.m. Hamilton has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last five games.
Hamilton put the finishing touches on their 11th blowout victory of the season on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Marion County 75-48 at home. Hamilton's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Aubrey Sorrells was her usual excellent self, scoring 33 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Hamilton's points. Another player making a difference was Jordan Parker, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Russellville ended up a good deal behind Lawrence County last Friday and lost 59-44.
Hamilton is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Russellville, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.
Hamilton was able to grind out a solid win over Russellville in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, winning 53-46. Will Hamilton repeat their success, or does Russellville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
