Mechanicsburg's Kaleb ROMERO rumbled for the longest rushing play in Ohio Heritage this season in his game against Northeastern last week. ROMERO's team topped the Jets as he sprinted for 88 yards on the play and finished with 122 in all.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Triad beat West Liberty-Salem 33-29. The victory was the ninth in a row for the Cardinals.
Greeneview's dynamic duo of Chance Frye and Dalton Caudill proved to be unstoppable against Southeastern Local, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Frye threw for 165 yards and 2 touchdowns and Caudill had 116 yards receiving. Mason Gallagher helped Greeneview's passing attack out by catching 7 balls for 57 yards.
Aeryton ERWIN was a beast in the backfield as Mechanicsburg defeated Northeastern.
Triad's Trent McIntyre and Doug Lowe have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-11 quarterback McIntyre has thrown for 1,731 yards this season, while Lowe has 40 catches for 667 yards. ERWIN from Kurt Forrest's team leads the league in rushing with 1,364 yards.
The Rams' Frye is a mere 32 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season. In 130 carries Frye has accumulated 968 yard this year.
A big matchup in Ohio Heritage this week will be when Greeneview takes on Mechanicsburg. At the moment, Neal Kasner's team is in fourth, while the Indians are in third.
There should be lots of points scored when the Rams and Mechanicsburg face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Greeneview comes in having scored 305 this season, while the Indians have scored 321. The Rams scored 56 points last week as they beat the Trojans.
Payton Printz's team and the Tigers played the most contested game in the league this week, with Payton Printz's team eventually emerging with a 33-29 victory.
