Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Charles J. Colgan to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brianna Long, who scored ten points along with nine steals and seven rebounds. Long is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Amaya Thrash, who scored ten points along with four steals.
Charles J. Colgan is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season. As for Forest Park, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.
Charles J. Colgan won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Hylton at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th. Hylton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings (they are ranked 355th, while Charles J. Colgan is ranked 138th). As for Forest Park, they will head out on the road to take on Gar-Field at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Gar-Field is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
