Weslaco's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Pioneer, they pushed their record up to 10-7 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Weslaco will square off against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pioneer, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 44-33 loss against Rowe on the 23rd.
