Warsaw won the last time they faced Sherwood and things went their way on Saturday too. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Marksmen with a sharp 11-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won 13 matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Warsaw and bumps their season record up to 14-7. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Sherwood, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-14 record.

Looking ahead, Warsaw will be playing at home against Eldon at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sherwood, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 5-3 victory against Adrian on the 3rd.
