Waterville will be playing at home against Messalonskee at at 1:00 PM on Saturday. Waterville will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
Waterville have had to suffer through a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on Medomak Valley with a sharp 34-6 win. Waterville were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 42 points the game before, Messalonskee faltered in their game last Friday. They were given a punishing 8-67 defeat at the hands of Gorham.
Waterville's victory lifted them to 2-3 while Messalonskee's loss dropped them down to 0-5. We'll find out if Waterville can add another positive mark to their record or if Messalonskee can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Waterville's step.
