Basketball Recap: YES Prep White Oak Comes Up Short at Home Against Founders Classical Academy

YES Prep White Oak unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Founders Classical Academy Voyagers by a score of 65-62 on Tuesday.

Founders Classical Academy found their leader in freshman D'Angelo Durosier, who shot 4-for-6 from long range and dropped a double-double on 44 points and 12 boards. That makes it ten consecutive games in which Durosier has scored at least a third of Founders Classical Academy's points.

Founders Classical Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-8 record this season.

Coincidentally, YES Prep White Oak and Founders Classical Academy will both be playing Harmony School of Advancement the next time they take the court. Founders Classical Academy will host Harmony School of Advancement at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while YES Prep White Oak will host them at 6:45 p.m. on February 11th.
