After losing to the Barnesville Shamrocks the last time they met, the Shenandoah Zeps decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Shenandoah strolled past Barnesville with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 56-40. The win made it back-to-back wins for Shenandoah.
Leading Shenandoah to victory were Kadence Noll and Brylee May. Noll scored 13 points along with six steals, while May scored 21 points. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Emmie House, who scored six points along with eight rebounds and seven assists.
Shenandoah's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Barnesville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.
Shenandoah is on the road again on Wednesday and play against Caldwell at 7:30 p.m. on January 10th. Hopefully Caldwell focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Monday. As for Barnesville, they will be playing at home against West Muskingum at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. West Muskingum presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Barnesville in Ohio (West Muskingum is ranked 129th, while Barnesville is ranked 496th).
